Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Mheek-Apps (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles information in connection with the DivePlanner mobile application for Android (package name com.mk.diveplanner, the “App”).

By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Summary

• Dive calculations run on your device. We do not operate our own servers for dive planning.
• We do not require an account and do not intentionally collect personal data for marketing or profiling.
• Optional in-app support purchases are processed by Google Play.
• Your chosen app language may be stored locally on your device.

Information We Process

On-device dive planning

Values you enter (for example depth, bottom time, surface interval, altitude, and Nitrox oxygen percentage) are used only on your device to perform calculations and display results. We do not receive or store these inputs on our servers.

Dive planning inputs are not intentionally persisted by the App beyond normal Android activity state (for example during screen rotation). Closing the App clears unsaved input fields.

Language preference

If you choose a language in the App, that preference may be stored locally on your device using Android system mechanisms so the App opens in your selected language.

Information we do not collect

We do not intentionally collect, among other things:

• Name, email address, or phone number through the App
• Precise location or GPS data
• Contacts, photos, files, or microphone/camera data
• Advertising identifiers for our own tracking

The App does not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs operated by us.

In-App Purchases (Google Play Billing)

The App offers an optional voluntary in-app purchase (“Buy me a coffee”). Purchases are handled entirely by Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment card or bank details.

Google may process purchase-related information such as transaction identifiers, product purchased, purchase status, and general account information according to Google’s own policies. We may receive limited purchase information through Google Play Console (for example that a purchase occurred) to fulfill and validate the transaction.

Third-Party Services

The App relies on platform services provided by Google, including:

• Google Play — app distribution, updates, and in-app billing
• Android / Google Play services — standard device and store infrastructure required for billing and app operation

These services may process technical information such as device type, operating system version, app version, and network connectivity as described in Google’s documentation. We do not control how Google processes that information.

Internet Access

The App requests network access only where needed for Google Play Billing. Core dive planning features work without sending your dive inputs to us.

Data Retention and Deletion

Locally stored App preferences (such as language) remain on your device until you clear app data or uninstall the App.

Purchase records are retained by Google according to Google’s policies. We do not maintain a separate user database for App purchases.

Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

Your Rights (EEA / UK / Switzerland)

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to certain processing of personal data, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Because we do not operate user accounts and do not store your dive inputs on our servers, most requests can be fulfilled by clearing app data or uninstalling the App. For purchase-related data held by Google, please also review Google’s privacy tools and policies.

Security

We rely on Android platform security and Google Play infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we design the App to minimize data collection and keep dive calculations on-device.

International Users

Google Play and related infrastructure may process information in countries where Google operates. By using the App, you understand that such processing may occur outside your home country.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
