Privacy Policy
This privacy policy applies to the ShipPulse app (the “Application”) for Android, provided by Mheek-Apps (the “Service Provider”). The Application is intended for use “AS IS”.
Summary
ShipPulse helps you view the status of one GitHub repository that you choose. Integration settings (such as a personal access token) are stored encrypted on your device. The Service Provider does not operate a ShipPulse user account system and does not receive your GitHub credentials or repository content on Service Provider servers as part of normal app use.
Data stored on your device
Depending on how you use the Application, it may store on your device:
- GitHub owner, repository name, and access token (encrypted)
- Cached repository snapshots used to show commits, workflow runs, and issues
- Widget preferences and redaction / unlock state
- Optional PDF reports you generate and save via the Application
- Local purchase / tip state related to Google Play Billing
If you uninstall the Application or clear its data, local data may be permanently deleted unless you previously exported files yourself (for example a PDF).
Network use
When you use online features, the Application may:
- Contact the GitHub API (and, if you use OAuth, GitHub’s authorisation pages) using the credentials or tokens you provide, to load repository data and related actions you request.

Contact Google Play Billing to offer or process the voluntary “Buy me a coffee” tip
(product id
buy_me_a_coffee).
GitHub and Google process those requests under their own terms and privacy policies. The Service Provider does not operate a ShipPulse backend that stores your repository contents.
Biometrics
If you unlock widgets with biometrics, authentication is performed by the Android system on your device. The Application does not receive or store your fingerprint or face data.
Permissions
Depending on features you use, the Application may request:
- Internet — to reach GitHub and Google Play Billing
- Biometric / device credential — optional widget unlock
- Billing — voluntary tips via Google Play
Children
The Application is not directed at children. Do not use the Application if you are not allowed to do so under applicable law.
Data sharing and sale
The Service Provider does not sell your GitHub credentials or repository data. Data leaves your device when you use GitHub or Google Play features, or when you yourself share files (for example a PDF you create).
Third-party services
- GitHub — repository data and optional OAuth
- Google Play / Play Billing — distribution and voluntary tips
Those services have their own privacy policies.
Security
Tokens are stored using Android encrypted preferences where available. No method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Protect your device with a lock screen, use least-privilege GitHub tokens, and revoke tokens you no longer need.
Your rights and choices
You can change or clear integration settings in the Application, revoke GitHub tokens in your GitHub account settings, and clear app data in Android system settings. For privacy questions about the Application, contact mheek_apps@pm.me.
Changes
This policy may be updated from time to time. The effective date at the top will change when we publish updates at https://pfyblick.ch/shippulse/privacy.html.
